This week, for the students who didn’t find themselves work placements, they remained in school where they completed a combination of virtual work experience workshops and physical ones.
We had visits from the area manager of Lidl, who spoke about apprenticeships, and we also had a visit from our Enterprise Advisor, Lucy Ayrton from Hays Training, who led some workshops in CV writing. The students then had a day of engineering led by Cathie Barker from AMRC, where students constructed a wheel.
