Thrybergh Science Club Week 2!

In Science Club last week, the students made a ping pong ball roller coaster using straws and tape to allow a ping pong ball to travel around it. They produced some great models!

As well as this, they investigated chemical exothermic reactions by doing the cannon fire demo, where they placed some ethanol and hydrogen peroxide in an evaporating basin before safely lighting it to watch the reaction!

They also tested their skills when investigating how empty a can has to be before it can be crushed by the pressure from their surroundings.

Well done to all the students who keep coming along, see you next week for some more fun experiments!
