STEM/Science Club Returns at Thrybergh Academy!
STEM/Science Club is back for the new school year at Thrybergh Academy, meeting once again in Sc1!
This week, students got hands-on with a range of exciting science practicals, finishing off with two explosive staff-led demonstrations: The Screaming Jelly Baby and Cannon Fire!
Alongside these, students enjoyed carrying out their own mini-chemistry investigations, including:
Rainbow Skittles
Exothermic & Endothermic Reactions
The Best Witch’s Potions
After last year’s success, we’re also bringing back the STEM/Science Club Attendance Raffle Wheel! Every week, attendees will receive a free raffle ticket for the Christmas prize draw – just for showing up and getting involved.
Our aim is simple: to have fun while learning new and exciting things in Science, all while developing key skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, Maths, and Technology that are essential for life today.
