TA Science Club

This week in Science Club, we welcomed back some students from their amazing work in the school pantomime for two festive activities.

Activity 1 – Science Christmas Garden

Pupils used their science knowledge and previous STEM skills to create a Christmas garden using cornflour, water, food colouring, mini trees, figurines and pretend snow. Mr Atkins demonstrated how to prepare the Oobleck first, allowing the pupils to add decorations afterwards. The results were fantastic!

Activity 2 – Christmas Presents

Students made Christmas gifts using sweets, chocolates, toys, small boxes and kindly donated cards, wrapping them beautifully to take home for family and friends.

The pupils showed brilliant skills, including problem-solving, learning from mistakes, and adapting their ideas to improve their creations.

We look forward to seeing everyone next week for the next part of our Science Christmas theme before the Christmas break!
