On Tuesday, a group of Y8 students took part in an exciting new opportunity focused on promoting oral health and hygiene within our school community. During the morning session, they received specialist training from NHS professionals, learning about the importance of good oral hygiene and how to care for our teeth effectively.
Armed with this new knowledge, the students became ‘Core Connectors’ – ambassadors who will now share their expertise with others across the school. In the afternoon, they began planning a campaign aimed at raising awareness and encouraging positive habits among their peers. They will continue meeting this Tuesday and again after Christmas to develop their ideas further.
Every student involved showed fantastic effort, enthusiasm, and maturity throughout the day. We are really looking forward to seeing their campaign come to life in the coming weeks!
