TA Summer Fayre

On Thursday 17th July, Thrybergh Academy ended the academic year with a bang by hosting a Summer Fayre! Every student in school was involved in planning and running a stall to raise money for three amazing charities. From a photo booth and penalty shootouts to mocktails and games, our students worked incredibly hard to deliver a fantastic community event full of energy and fun.

We were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Rotherham to our Summer Fayre, and we thank her for taking the time to join us and support the brilliant efforts of our young people.

Thanks to the hard work of our students and staff, along with the generosity of our wonderful local community, we raised an incredible £1455.10 for charity! This money will be shared between three worthy causes: Rotherham Foodbank, Firefly Cancer Support and Awareness, and the PSP Association.

Events like this are a perfect example of Wickersley Partnership Trust’s strategic priority of giving back to the community. By raising money and showing kindness, our students are not only supporting important causes but also learning the value of making a difference beyond the classroom.

A huge thank you to everyone who played a part in making the Summer Fayre such a success. What a brilliant way to finish the year – we hope you’re all having a fantastic Summer!
