Illustration Workshop

Last term, Thrybergh Art students were invited by Children’s Capital of Culture to work with Artist and Illustrator, Ruth Dyer. Students produced illustrations for a series of short stories, written by students from Highfield Farm Primary School in partnership with Grimm & Co. Everyone created a series of enchanting characters and scenes, inspired by the visual quality of the children’s writing, bringing their short stories to life.

Grimm & Co have woven their magic to collate these stories into an illustrated book, which was revealed to the students at a special book launch hosted at each school. The writers and illustrators had a chance to meet each other and celebrate what they created.

Amazing work, well done everyone!
