On Thursday 28th March, Thrybergh Academy hosted their first Spring Fair! This was a rewards event for the students who had worked hard last half term.
Even with the unpredictable spring weather, the event was a fantastic success with stalls on offer from both students and the local community, sporting events such as Zorb Football provided by Positive Impact Sports, a teachers VS students football match, tug of war and sponge toss the teachers.
SMJ Falconry also returned to the academy for the second time this year with their birds of prey display giving students the opportunity to handle the birds, as well as refreshments provided by Gratino’s Ices and Bears Street Food.
This event gave us the opportunity to raise money for the Year 11 prom, and as a result, an incredible £1251 was raised! 
A big thank you to all the staff, students and wider community for the organisation and support of this event. We hope you all had a lovely time and are having great Easter break.
