Science Club Experiments

This week at Science club, we took a look into the functions and digestive system of a lamb’s heart and a rat.

The students took to this really well getting themselves kitted up in an apron and pair of gloves then safely using dissecting equipment under supervision, dissected both the lamb’s heart and rat to look at the function of them in closer detail.

The students really took to the challenge for the first part of Science Club and enjoyed the investigating. Once they had cleaned themselves following the guidelines, we then went onto doing the following practical investigations of Lava Lamps, Tornado in a bottle and Storm in a glass.

It was nice to see some new faces again this week!
