Remembrance Day

Last week, we stood in silence for two minutes on the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month to remember all those who have sacrificed to give us a better future. We also thought about the people who continue to sacrifice today during our silence.

Some students took the time to tidy the display outside of school, they removed all the litter, planted new flowers including poppies, and laid a poppy cross in Remembrance. We are proud that our students were respectful and thoughtful to mark this moment.

At Thrybergh Academy, we will always remember them.
