Over the past six months, we have trialled a new Science Leaders/Ambassadors Certificate Course for students who attend Science Club at Thrybergh Academy. The course was designed to help students develop their leadership skills, deepen their scientific knowledge, and support younger students with activities and challenges.
A huge congratulations to Lilly, Rayona, and Gracie in Year 9, who successfully completed the course at Gold level. They have received a Gold certificate, lanyard, and Science Leaders/Ambassadors hoodie in recognition of their hard work. Also, a big well done to Mollie in Year 8, who has completed the course at Bronze level so far. Mollie will continue working towards Gold level next year, developing her scientific understanding and leadership skills further.
We are now beginning to plan next year’s course, so any pupils who are interested in becoming Science Leaders/Ambassadors can speak to Mr Atkins in school or get in touch through the Science Club Google Classroom.
