The WPT Young Musician of the Year 2026 competition took place at RCS last Wednesday and Thursday, celebrating the incredible talent and dedication of young performers from across the Trust. Students from Thrybergh Academy showcased exceptional musicianship across a wide range of musical genres, representing the school brilliantly throughout the competition.
We are especially delighted to celebrate the success of Robyn, who was crowned the overall winner following her outstanding vocal performance. We would also like to congratulate Eva, who achieved fantastic success by winning the Intermediate Vocalist category.
These are incredible achievements and a real testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent shown by both students. A huge well done to everyone who took part and made the school proud!
