British Science Museum Trip

On Wednesday 21st October, we took a group of Year 8-10 pupils from Science Club to the Science Museum in London. The trip was a reward for their hard work and dedication over recent years, including completing a range of STEM Technician activities during the spring and summer terms.

After an early start, the pupils enjoyed exploring the museum’s many galleries and getting involved in its hands-on activities. Highlights included the Space, Medicine, Flight and Wonderlab sections, where they discovered how science and technology have shaped our world. From the development of aircraft during the First and Second World Wars to advances in space exploration, energy and medicine, there was plenty to spark their curiosity.

Students represented Thrybergh brilliantly, showing great enthusiasm and making links between the exhibits and what they have learned in Science Club. Well done!
