On Friday 9th October, Year 11 OCR Sport Studies students travelled to Burbage Moor in the Peak District to complete their assessment walk as part of their Outdoor Adventurous Activities unit.
Throughout the day, the students demonstrated excellent teamwork and navigation skills, supporting one another and working together to overcome challenges. Despite the difficult weather conditions, they showed great determination and perseverance to successfully complete the walk. The students were a real credit to Thrybergh Academy – Mr Duckworth and Mr Casely were particularly impressed by their maturity, confidence and positive attitude throughout the experience. Well done to everyone involved!
