Student Council Visit Mayor

On Tuesday, members of the Thrybergh Academy Student Council visited Rotherham Town Hall to meet the Mayor of Rotherham. The students enjoyed an excellent tour, where they learned more about the history of both Rotherham and Thrybergh, while also having the opportunity to ask lots of thoughtful questions.

A huge thank you to the Mayor for such a warm welcome and for providing such an inspiring experience. The visit left our students feeling proud of their local community and motivated to become future leaders themselves. Who knows – perhaps we may even have a future Mayor of Rotherham within our Student Council!
