This week, Y7 and Y8 students visited Cast in Doncaster to see the multi-award winning musical, Blood Brothers, written by Willie Russell.
The musical tells the tragic story of twin brothers separated at birth, who grow up in different social classes only to meet a fated end.
The students will begin studying Blood Brothers during the last term of Y8 so seeing it professionally has inspired them for when they begin their own exploration of the play’s dramatic techniques, themes and context.
The students were impeccably behaved and were a credit to the school!
