Last week, on Thursday 2nd October, we had the pleasure of welcoming prospective Year 5 and 6 students and their families to our first Open Evening of the academic year!
Visitors were able to explore our school, enjoy interactive subject displays – from Science experiments to Creative Arts showcases – meet our staff, and get a taste of the fantastic opportunities Thrybergh Academy has to offer. The evening began with a warm welcome from our School Council members, who also supported students throughout the evening, helping them learn more about how Thrybergh can support their transition.
At Thrybergh and Wickersley Partnership Trust, we are committed to ensuring all students leave us able and qualified to thrive in an ever-changing world. This commitment is reflected in our ambitious curriculum, which empowers students with the skills, knowledge and attributes to succeed in life beyond school.
Our values, embodied in the “Thrybergh Way”, promote independence, responsibility and resilience – supporting a happy and successful life for our students.
We hope that everyone who attended our Open Evening left with a deeper understanding of what makes Thrybergh a special place to learn.
