To mark the final Science Club of the school year, we held a special celebration to recognise the fantastic effort and enthusiasm shown by our students.
First, we celebrated top attenders from the summer term – 18 students who attended 7 or more sessions since April received certificates and small prizes, presented by Mr Curtis. Next, we rewarded our competition winners, who got to spin the prize wheel to see what they’d won.
Then came our attendance prize draw. Every student who attended any session since April had their name entered into the raffle. Eight lucky students were drawn at random and also got to spin the wheel for a prize.
A big thank you to Mr Curtis for joining us to present the awards and make the final session of the year such a success.
Looking ahead, Mr Atkins will be planning next year’s Science Club over the summer, aiming to make it even bigger and better. Details will be shared in the new academic year via social media, a new Google Classroom, and the science notice board.
Finally, a huge thank you to all of the 60+ students who’ve been part of Science Club this year. You’ve shown curiosity, collaboration, and creativity throughout every activity, from science experiments to food tech challenges.
We look forward to seeing you again in September 2025!
