This week, for the final Science Club of the half term, students tested their skills by making a chocolate cake. They used various cooking equipment and ingredients provided for them, then followed a recipe sheet to make their cake batter, before putting them in the oven for 25 minutes.
While the cakes baked, they made some cream cake filler – everyone made a really good attempt at this task, and there were some fantastic results. At the end of the session, everyone took their cakes home with them.
