Thrybergh Science Club Week 5!

In Science Club this week, we ventured down to Design Technology again, to continue with the animal plaques with scientific quotes on, which the students designed themselves.

Once the plaques were complete, the students went into the Food Technology room to make Tanghulu using various instructions and their own researched recipes. They used fruits and placed them onto wooden skewers! Once ready, they decorated in chocolate and sugar. They all managed to produce animal plaques & lots of Tanghulu, which were both student requests.

Again, a huge thank you to Mr Davies for helping us out this week with the computer program, and showing the students how the laser cutter works. Well done to all the students who keep coming along to investigate science!

Information on science club activities, competition winners and the links to other departments can be found on the students Science Club Google Classroom, where all students who attend can access once they have accepted the invite, information can also be found on the science corridor and on our social media page.

See you all next week for more fun experiments!
