Thirty-nine students from Years 9 and 10 completed the Army Youth Challenge Course at Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Strensall, York showing all the attributes of the Thrybergh Way to represent the Academy!
They completed the Obstacle Course, Communication Task, Logistics Command Task and Paintball Range followed by receiving an Army Careers Presentation.
The behaviour and attitude of all students was excellent and they enjoyed gaining valuable experience and knowledge of Army roles and potential career opportunities whilst speaking to serving soldiers on the Army camp! They showed the ‘Black Rats’ 4th Light Brigade Combat Team their enthusiasm for the Challenge!!
