Thrybergh Academy Welcomes FootAsylum to the School

Thrybergh Academy recently hosted FootAsylum for a photoshoot to launch their new range of seamless gymnasium style gear.

The womenswear brand Fórena which is partly owned by FootAsylum shot their entire new collection in the gymnasium last month.

The brand found out about the location through the websites ‘School Hire’ scheme and once they saw the Gym, “it had everything we needed” said Producer Sophie Hulbert.

“Fórena wanted a retro aesthetic and shooting in this location should nicely complement it. We’re shooting bold gymnasium style clothes and this facility lends itself to that nicely.”

Sophie went on to comment how the staff at Thrybergh Academy and the Trust made them feel really welcome and were very complimentary of the brand and shoot – “the day here has been brilliant” she said.

Lettings Manager Adam Cloney who organised and assisted the event said – “It’s been a real privilege hosting FootAsylum and Fórena for this shoot. It was an unusual request but their usage of our facilities will help highlight Thrybergh Academy to a much larger audience – it is brilliant for the exposure for the school.”

As a Trust we are constantly looking for avenues for growth when it comes to the usage of facilities outside of school hours and hosting FootAsylum is a fantastic step towards that goal.
