Thrybergh Academy Science/Steam Club

Science/Steam Club would like to thank all students who keep on attending on a Tuesday after school in Sc1. 🧪🥼
 
We have done various practicals over this half term finishing with various Easter activities.
 
On the 20/3/23 the students made bunny hoppers and egg volcanoes and on 28/3/23 the pupils made an Easter garden using slime/Oobleck & magic eggs consisting of corn flour.
 
All students worked well this half term despite the disruptions and below are the various winners.

Niamh Murray – great effort and experimental knowledge
 
Week Commencing 27/3/23
Billy Monaghan – Easter tray made from Oobleck & Slime
Erin Miles –  Easter tray made from Oobleck & Slime
Leana Sludden – Great effort to use both slime/Oobleck & Magic eggs to make Easter Garden.
 
The winning students can collect their Easter Eggs from Mr Atkins at the end of school.
 
We look forward to seeing everyone back after the Easter holidays. 🐣

Thursday 26th September 4.30 – 6.30pm – Year 5/6 Open Evening

We look forward to opening our doors to some of our potential future students. This evening will give them an opportunity to take a tour around the school and have a look into the sort of topics they will be covering in the subjects.
