This week in Science Club, students continued learning about different technician roles and industries. After previously exploring areas such as dye technology, aerodynamics, and food production, this week’s challenge focused on making and testing concrete used in the construction industry.
Working in groups, students created their own concrete mixtures using quick-dry cement, carefully measuring and mixing the materials before pouring them into moulds. They also added metal paper clips to represent the reinforced supports used in real construction projects. Amazing work, well done!
