TA Science Club!

This week at Science Club, students used the skills they had been taught in lessons to complete a Desert Island Challenge. They had to imagine they had been stranded on a desert island, and use their investigative skills and knowledge to find ways to survive, by finding food and drink on the island.

They were provided with a tray of equipment that would help them to filter off the sand/salt/water mixture, to produce a salt water solution, which they could then evaporate the water to produce salt safely. The students worked both independently and together, and have left the salt water solution to evaporate ready for next week.

Well done, everyone!
