National Teaching Awards Recognition

We would like to say a huge congratulations to our Deputy Headteacher, Mrs Tyrrell, for being recognised in the Pearson National Teaching Awards. She received a Highly Commended certificate for the Unsung Hero category!

This well-deserved recognition is a testament to her dedication, passion and tireless commitment to making a positive difference every day. In her roles as Deputy Headteacher at Thrybergh Academy and Director of Safeguarding across Wickersley Partnership Trust, she provides inspirational leadership and works relentlessly to support the wellbeing and success of children and young people. We are immensely proud of her achievement and so grateful for the positive impact she has on our school and Trust community.

Congratulations also go out to Ms Travis, Primary Safeguarding Manager for WPT – who works closely alongside Mrs Tyrrell – for her outstanding achievement. She was also Highly Commended in the Unsung Hero category!

Well done and thank you for your hard work! 👏
