TA Science Club

For the final Science Club session before the Easter break, pupils headed to the Food Technology room for our Easter Bake Challenge. Students had the choice between two different baking activities:

  1. Easter Tray Bake – Pupils mixed oil, self-raising flour, cocoa powder, caster sugar, milk, and two eggs, then poured the mixture into a baking tray and cooked it for 20–30 minutes.
  2. Easter Cornflake Chocolate Buns – Pupils safely melted chocolate over a saucepan and poured it into bun cases containing cornflakes to create tasty treats.

Everyone had a fantastic time and produced some brilliant tray bakes and cornflake buns to take home.

The session also included the STEM Club Easter Raffle, where Science Helpers and attending pupils helped draw 18 winning tickets, raising valuable funds for the club.

Finally, competition prizes were awarded to pupils who had been recognised throughout the term, from January to Easter, for their excellent work and effort in Science Club.

Well done everyone!
