Y11 Drama Trip

Last week, Year 11 Drama students from across WPT took part in an exciting trip to The Crucible Theatre to see ‘The Ladies Football Club’ by Stefano Massini and Tim Firth.

The production featured a star-studded cast of talented actresses who had worked closely with Frantic Assembly’s movement director, Scott Graham, to bring the story to life. The show offered a funny, engaging, and inspiring retelling of women’s football in the early 20th century, highlighting the challenges, triumphs, and remarkable achievements of the players during their heyday.

The students left the theatre full of ideas and inspiration, with plenty to reflect on and write about as they prepare for their Drama exams in May. Well done, Y11!
