World Book Day 2026

Today, staff and students at Thrybergh Academy came together to celebrate World Book Day 2026.

There was a fantastic atmosphere around the school as staff dressed up in a range of creative costumes inspired by their favourite characters and stories. Classrooms and corridors were also beautifully decorated with themes linked to current learning and well-loved stories.

Reading plays an important role in school life, helping to develop imagination, confidence and a lifelong love of learning. Events like World Book Day are a brilliant way to celebrate books and encourage everyone to enjoy reading. Well done to everyone who got involved!
