Summer 2024 Exams

The main GCSE Summer exam season will start on the 2nd May and run until the 26th June.
The 26th June is the JCQ contingency day so all students taking exams must be available to sit exams up to and including that date should exams need to be rearranged on a national level.

Practical and speaking exam dates will be communicated to students via their subject teachers closer to the time.

Results day 2024

GCSE results day will be held on the 22nd August at 10am in the main hall.

General Guidance

Exam Certificates

If you will be unable to collect your certificates in person, please provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope to reception prior to the end of the summer term.

Wishing to collect certificates from 2022 or earlier?

Please contact the School on 01709 850741 or by e-mail at exams@thrybergh.com to arrange collection. Certificates will be ready to collect from Reception within 48 hours. Please bring ID with you or send a letter of authorisation with the person who is collecting on your behalf.

Please note: Certificates will not be issued to a 3rd party without your written permission (no text messages).

Replacement Exam Certificates

If you have lost your original certificates, you may apply for a certifying statement of results, which is an official copy of the final exam results held by the awarding exam bodies. It is accepted by universities, colleges and employers as verification of results.

Depending on which examinations you took, you may need to contact each exam board. Below are links to the main exam board websites which will give you the information required to obtain replacement certificates and/or confirmation of results.
