Rotherham SEND Information and Support Service (Rotherham SENDIASS)

Rotherham SENDIASS (Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service) is the new name for Rotherham Parent Partnership.  If offers impartial information, advice and support to:

  • a parent or carer for a child or young person up to age 25 with special educational needs or disabilities
  • a child up to age 16 who has special educational needs or disabilities

 

The Yours Project

YOURS is a short break activity service for children and young people with disabilities. The activities are delivered by six organisations together with staff support from YMCA White Rose and a door to door service provided by Rotherham Community Transport.  On offer is a wide variety of fun, exciting and challenging activities throughout the week at various locations around Rotherham. Activities include water sports, indoor sports and games, arts and crafts, music, dance and many more. Take a look at the weekly programme of activities available.

 

Rotherham Integrated Youth Support Service

The team on duty offer a range of support including careers information, employment opportunities and benefit advice.  Young people can also talk in confidence to a Youth Support Worker about any issues or concerns and can access counselling and support if required.

Diagnosed with Autism?  Age 13-19?  Go along to one of the Chat 'n' Chill sessions at:

Chislett Youth and Community Centre, Kimberworth Park - Tuesday 6.30pm - 8.30pm

Maltby Linx, Young Peoples Centre - Thursday 6.30pm - 8.30pm
