Foundation Unit Open Afternoon April 2019

Thank you to everyone who donated last Friday for Comic Relief!

Comic Relief 2019

As parents will no doubt know, towards the end of Year 6, children sit  SATs (tests) in reading, maths and SPaG (spelling, punctuation and grammar). These tests are both set and marked externally and your child’s marks will be used in conjunction with teacher assessment to give a broader picture of their attainment.

This year the tests take place week commencing 13th May so with only 15 weeks to go our Y6 children are working hard on their learning in school.  If you would like to help your child at home there are various websites and apps you can access including:

You can find more information about SATs by visiting our SATs page.

We will be hosting an open afternoon on Thursday 4th April for anyone who is looking for a foundation place for their child aged 3 and above.  If you are interested in finding out what we can offer your child, please call in, take a look at our facilities and meet the staf who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
