Warwick Award for Excellence
During the summer term of this year, members of staff and students were asked to speak to our assessors from Warwick University about enterprise activity taking place in School. The Assessors were very impressed with the amount of enterprise activity taking place through the curriculum and out of normal School hours.
We were successful in achieving our Warwick Award and on the 13th November we were invited to a presentation to receive our Award, along with other Rotherham Schools.

The Awards ceremony was held at the Holiday Inn in Rotherham.
Young Chamber President Leonie Regan, Vice President Stacey Kiers, Miss France and Mr Pridding accepted this Award on behalf of the School.
We are also part of the first Action Zone to receive this Award. Mr Price accepted this Award on behalf of the Action Zone.

A big thanks to everyone who helped achieve this Award.

Representatives from 30 Rotherham schools will attend a prestigious celebration event at the Marriott Hotel on 13th November, hosted by Rotherham Ready. The event is to recognise the schools’ achievement of the University of Warwick Award for Excellence in Enterprise Education and means that over half the borough’s schools will have achieved the award.
