The library is used daily by all students. Pupils undertaking individual tasks, lessons, meetings, assemblies or to make use of the suite of computers, scanner and printing facilities.
The library contains a variety of newspapers and magazines and also stocks more than one thousand fiction and two thousand non-fiction books.
Year 7 pupils have an English lesson timetabled in the library, once a fortnight. These sessions include an introduction to the library, quizzes based on locating fiction and non-fiction texts, research skills and encouraging independent reading.
