As a faculty we are keen to link the creative abilities of our students to an understanding of the constraints operating in a business environment. This ethos permeates our subject areas: Information Communication Technology, Design & Technology, Food Technology and Textiles.
The Technology faculty staff are:

Mrs. P. Evans - TA Level 2
Technology is divided into the following subjects:
• Information Communication Technology (ICT)
• Technology
The Technology/ICT Faculty at Thrybergh has been together since September 2005, when the Technology Department lead by Mrs C. Ritchie and the ICT Department lead by Mr A. Knight came together to form one Faculty.
It has been an active 18 months. There have been significant changes to the curriculum and major improvements in the standard of teaching and learning and assessment. The six technology rooms have been extensively refurbished and textiles has been re-introduced to the curriculum. The Faculty is now working together with a view to making major improvements in examination results this year.
Further developments in the future include:
The immediate recruitment of an additional teacher of textiles and food.
The introduction of DiDA qualification from September 2006/7.
The re-introduction of ECDL from September 2006.
Integrated courses run in conjunction with RCAT from September 2006.
