Recently, staff and students elected Ben Cook and Jessica Khan as Head boy and girl, and Dea Skidmore and Joe Leng as their deputies. Any Y11 student is welcome to apply to become a prefect providing they meet the criteria. |

Thrybergh School gains Sports Centre
Thrybergh School and Sports College has now inherited the sports centre from the local authority, the centre has been open for nearly 28 years and is still in pristine condition. The sports centre has a wide range of activities that will enhance not just Thrybergh School and Sports College but also help provide a service for the local community. Rotherham Scorpions provide after school tuition
Thrybergh School and Sports College has teamed up with Rotherham Scorpions Table Tennis club to provide after school tuition. The club is run by Coach Alan Dunn with the help of our Y11 student Jamie Hudd, who both play at the Scorpions. .

Transition residential 2008 (Dordogne, France)
This year’s transition residential organisation by the Action Zone was held in one of PGLs well established centers at Dordogne. Activities included Climbing, Abseiling, Fencing, Canoeing, Raft Building, Orienteering, Archery, and the High Rope Challenge.

Parenting Group
Our Parenting Group have met up here at TSSC every Wednesday afternoon this term. Parents have studied for an IT course and have joined in with various Christmas crafts over the last few weeks. |
Warwick Award for Excellence
During the summer term of this year, members of staff and students were asked to speak to our assessors from Warwick University about enterprise activity taking place in School.

Family Learning Programme
Our Parenting Group have met up here at TCS every Wednesday afternoon this term. Parents have studied for an IT course and have joined in with various Christmas crafts over the last few weeks. In the New Year we will be taking up Digital Photography.
