Languages are key to communication in life.

In the English and MFL Faculty we enable students to acquire three key
skills. Speaking and Listening; is essential in everyday life. To be articulate
and confident. To listen and respond to others. To be clear and concise
with an educated opinion.


Reading skills; are paramount to understanding. To be able to explain
what a text means, in terms of the writer's purpose.
Finally; writing skills. Everyone needs to write something, at some
point in their life. Be that a quick text, an e mail, a letter or a
best selling novel. We at Thrybergh Languages Faculty will help every
student to attain an all round knowledge of these vital communication
skills.

A rigorous and active faculty offering English and Modern Foreign Languages (French) as well as a wide range of extra curricular activities.
