Vision Statement

Standards of Achievement
Every member of the department will know each pupil’s past attainment, current performance and future goals. They will be able to use data to plan learning that needs to take place so that every pupil can reach or exceed their target.

High quality learning and teaching
Each teacher will develop pupils as successful learners who can work both independently and collaboratively, making use of the fullest range of learning and teaching strategies.

Motivation and attitudes to learning
Each pupil will be intrinsically motivated to achieve their full potential and take their share of responsibility towards the subject. Teachers will maintain and /or stimulate pupil’s enjoyment in P.E to promote Health and Fitness for both current and future lifestyles.

Leadership
Each teacher will work to interpret and implement the department vision within their area of responsibility and manage efficiently and effectively, most conducive to learning.
