An excellent performance by a fantastic cast!

Blood Brothers

On the evenings of Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th July 2010, students from Thrybergh School and Sports College performed in the summer production of Blood Brothers by Willy Russell.  The play tells the story of the Johnstone twins, Mickey and Eddie, who are separated at birth but unite and become friends in their childhood, unaware of their relation to each other or of the consequences their relationship will bring about.

Blood Brothers

Both performances were extremely well attended and Mr Montgomery commended all of the students involved saying that he was “………so proud of the entire cast. They attended every rehearsal with enthusiasm and made it such an enjoyable process. Most schools plays are rehearsed over a period of 14 to 16 weeks but these students had less than half that amount of time. I cannot believe how hard the students worked. It was a fantastic production that any school would be proud of.”

Blood Brothers

Mr Montgomery wants to thank all the staff who worked so hard behind the scenes and contributed to the huge success of the production.
