The Award involves students reading a number of texts that have been recommended by members of Rotherham Local Education Authority. After reading the books schools are then required to vote for their favourite. The students at Thrybergh overwhelmingly voted in favour of ‘The London Eye Mystery’ which is a mystery novel.
In addition, students have been committed to attending after school sessions where they have worked hard to complete a display based around the novel ‘Broken Glass’.
On the 1st July the students involved will be going on a visit to Magna, where their display will be presented. Furthermore, they will have the opportunity to discuss the novels and meet a number of authors. |
