Ex-students of Thrybergh Academy, Christina and Chloe Bubb, are rising stars in the world of welding with the sisters recently wining prestigious awards for their achievements in the industry.
Christina left in 2014 and has just been awarded the intermediate Rotherham Apprentice of the Year title at a special event at the AESSEAL New York stadium. Praised for her natural talent in welding, Christina's employers commended her consistent standards and achivements in a male dominated profession. Chloe, who left in 2015 recently won student of the year on the Level 2 Welding and Engineering course at Rotherham College of Arts and Technology.
Both are a great examples of women working in the engineering sector which actively encourages recruitment from both male and female candidates. We are so proud of them, well done girls!
