SCHOOL UNIFORM
   
 

To instil a sense of belonging and pride in High Greave the children are expected to wear our school uniform.

Uniform and Dress code
Discussion and consultation with parents has resulted in a decision to introduce a uniform and dress code within the school from the beginning of the 2005/6 school year.
The uniform consists of:

  • Navy fleece or sweatshirt with school logo.
  • White short sleeve polo shirt (one with school logo)
  • A summer dress for girls in warm weather
  • Dark bottoms/skirts or shorts (no denims)
  • Flat shoes or trainers (dark colour or white)

The fleece, sweatshirt and polo shirt with logos can be obtained via the school from the appointed company, which is class wear. The identical uniform and dress code is to be also introduced within the High Greave Infant School at the same time.

We ask that your child’s uniform is clearly marked using a permanent pen. We encourage you to ensure that your children wear sensible footwear at all times.
 
Jewellery
LEA policy is no jewellery or watches will be worn during P.E. lessons. If your child has pierced ears, only studs can be worn, as dangly earrings are a safety hazard.

Please keep jewellery to a minimum – watches only please.The school cannot accept responsibility for items of jewellery brought into school.
