Action Zone France Residential 2009
Once again Thrybergh Action Zone will be organising a trip for the Y6’s to visit Club Correze. Club Correze is a sports coaching, touring and multi-activity centre for young people of all ages based in the small town of Meymac in Southern France.

A full activity programme is available starting at breakfast and finishing in the evening. The range of activities available are:

Water Sports: These take place on the man-made
lake of Sechmailles and these include topper sailing,
boarding, kayaking and Canadian canoeing

Land-based Activities: Sports such as, fencing, archery and air rifle shooting are on offer and all of these are based in the grounds of Club Corezze itself and the forest adjacent is ideal for mountain biking, orientating and the famous ‘Rambo Ramble’

Club based activities: This includes a full sized rugby and football training pitch, a gymnasium, table tennis room, tennis court, five-a-side football pitch, unihoc and netball areas.

Club Correze programmes are designed to introduce young people to an array of exciting new experiences.

These new experiences can reveal and stimulate hidden skills and aptitudes and provide essential elements for each child's personal development.

For many it may be the first time away from home. Club Correze offers a warm and reassuringly safe environment, perfect for the development of social skills.

Fellowship and teamship are developed and encouraged between the children and their group and activity leaders. The children do not need any previous experience to take part and enjoy our activities. Our staff are able and happy to instruct children of any level of competence from novice to proficient.
