2011 was another fantastic year for students at Thrybergh School and Sports College. 90% (nine out of every ten) students collected at least five GCSE passes at grade C or above. This was a wonderful achievement – more good passes in total than ever before.

This year for the first time some of those students have come back to Thrybergh to study in our new sixth form which we are running in partnership with Wickersley School & Sports College. Twenty eight students have taken up this option and we look forward to them achieving great things.

Our other new partnership is with Dalton Foljambe Primary School. Mrs Clubley has been appointed executive headteacher there and will have overall responsibility for the school. Mrs Clubley will work closely with the head of school there, Mrs Lee.

These developments represent super progress for the students and their families in Thrybergh and we look forward to a brighter and brighter future for the education of our children.
